Two errors and 12 stranded runners spoiled a splendid debut from Marquis Fleming as the Kansas City T-Bones (2-1) topped the Saltdogs (1-2) 6-2 in front of 5,126 fans at CommunityAmerica Ballpark Saturday night.

After Thursday's opener was suspended following the 13th inning due to the league's midnight curfew, the game resumed Friday evening at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. The Saltdogs (1-1) won 11-7 in 16 innings but were edged by the T-Bones (1-1) 3-2 in game two of the series.

After 13 innings and nearly five hours, the midnight curfew rule stopped the season opener. The Saltdogs and Kansas City T-Bones will resume action at 6:05 p.m. Friday.

It was an early inning run-fest, and the Sioux City Explorers led wire-to-wire in a 15-9 exhibition victory over the Saltdogs Tuesday night.

The Saltdogs host the Sioux City Explorers tonight at 6:05 p.m. Fans who wear their "I Voted" stickers will get in to Haymarket Park for free.

The Goldeyes held off the Saltdogs in the late innings to emerge victorious 7-6 in an exhibition game at Haymarket Park Saturday afternoon. Sunday's exhibition game has been canceled due to incoming weather.
