KANSAS CITY, Kan. — After 13 innings and nearly five hours, the midnight curfew rule stopped the season opener. The Saltdogs and Kansas City T-Bones will resume action at 6:05 p.m. Friday with the score tied at 7-7 heading in to the top of the 14th, with the regularly-scheduled nine inning game to follow.
 
Lincoln held a 7-2 lead heading in to the eighth but Kansas City rallied for three in the eighth and two in the ninth.
 
In accordance with a league rule, a new inning cannot begin after 12 a.m. local time.
