David Zoz is pitching in his third season with the Lincoln Saltdogs after he was one of Lincoln’s most reliable relievers over the past two years. Zoz went 3-2 with a 4.14 ERA in 38 appearances last year after allowing just eight runs in 18 and 2/3 innings as a rookie in 2021. Zoz had a career-high 47 strikeouts one season ago, and he’d allowed just one homer – an inside-the-park round-tripper – in 60 professional innings during his first two seasons. Zoz pitched collegiately at Middle Tennessee State, where he went 9-6 with a 3.61 ERA in 51 career appearances from 2019-2021.
