Zane Zurbrugg made the 2023 Saltdogs roster after he was a non-roster invitee to spring camp. His work impressed the staff enough to earn a place on the Opening Night roster, and he’s been on the team ever since. Zurbrugg’s pro career began in 2019 when he was drafted in the 27th round by the Milwaukee Brewers out of Shoreline (WA) Community College. After one season in the Brewers organization, Zurbrugg has continued playing in the Pioneer League and the American Association. Zurbrugg hit his first two professional homers as a ‘Dog earlier this season.
