Beginning his second season with the Saltdogs after taking 2019 and 2020 off from the game. Last year, Minier morphed into one of the most consistent starters in the league, tossing 86 innings and finishing 9-4 with a 3.87 ERA – top-10 in the American Association. A former 32nd round pick of the Chicago White Sox in 2017, Minier pitched in 23 games at the Rookie level in the White Sox organization and went 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA. He tossed 36.2 innings and allowed 47 hits, 22 runs, 20 earned runs, eight walks and struck out 32. He also pitched collegiately at both Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL and the University of Washington in Seattle (two programs separated by 3,069 miles).
