Drew DeVine rejoins the Lincoln Saltdogs for a fifth season after a standout college career at Western Michigan University where he was an everyday player over his final three seasons.  DeVine joined the ‘Dogs at the end of 2021 and came back for 2022, where he provided Lincoln with much-needed depth down the stretch. In 2023, DeVine’s first full season resulted in a breakout that landed him an All-Star appearance at the starting shortstop for the West Division.  In 2024, DeVine stole 17 bases and drove in 41 runs in 95 games.

2025:  Rejoined the Saltdogs on May 31st.  Played 12 games for Saraperos de Saltillo, in the Mexican League, batting .211 with one home run and three rbi’s.

2024:  Played in 95 games for the Saltdogs, batting .225 with six home runs and 41 runs batted in.

2023:  In 100 games for Lincoln, DeVine batted .282 with seven home runs and 37 RBI’s.

2022:  Playing in his second season with the Saltdogs, DeVine hit .269 in 33 games with one home run and seven runs batted in.

2021:  Wrapped up his college career at Western Michigan, playing in 50 games, batting .303 with five home runs and 29 runs batted in.  Played for the Wilson Tobs in the Coastal Plain League, College Summer League, batting .368 with three home runs and 27 runs batted in during 35 games.  Joined the Saltdogs and played in nine games, batting .300 with a double and three RBI’s.

2020:  Did Not Play

2019:  Played in 49 games for Western Michigan, batting .359 with two home runs and 31 runs batted in.

2018:  In his sophomore season, played in 48 games for WMU, batting .264 with two home runs and 23 runs batted in.  During the summer, played for the Chillicothe Paints in the Summer, College Prospect League, batting .232 with a triple and 21 runs batted in during 51 games.

2017:  Played in 22 games his freshman season at Western Michigan, batting .222 with one double and one stolen base.  During the summer, DeVine played for the Lake Erie Monarchs in the Great Lakes Collegiate Summer League, batting .292 with five doubles and 16 RBI’s in 36 games.
