OCONOMOWOC, Wisconsin – LHP Tanner Brown tossed six scoreless innings, SS Drew Devine drove in all three runs in Lincoln’s 3-0 win over the Lake Country DockHounds at Wisconsin Brewing Company Park on Saturday night.

Brown tossed his first scoreless outing as a Saltdog, and the ‘Dogs (37-36) polished off their first shutout since May 24th against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Devine opened the scoring in the 5th with hit 7th homer – a two-run shot to left field off of RHP Franklyn Kilome.

With the bases loaded and one out in the 7th, Devine extended Lincoln’s lead with a sacrifice fly that made it 3-0.

The ‘Dogs allowed just two hits – the fewest for an opponent this year – and posted their second shutout this year.

RHP R.J. Freure tossed two scoreless innings with no hits, one walk and three strikeouts. LHP Steffon Moore worked around two walks with the 9th and picked up his sixth save of the year when he struck out LF Marek Chlup to end the game.

C Luke Roskam walked in the 1st inning, extending his on-base streak to 38 – the longest active in the league this year and one shy of the longest in the American Association this season.

DH Yanio Perez went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, extending his hitting streak to a season-long 12 games.

The ‘Dogs snapped their four-game road losing streak to get back over .500, while Lake Country (36-37) fell to 0-4 when having a chance to get above .500 this year.

The series concludes Sunday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. and pregame coverage begins at 1:05 on KFOR FM 101.5/1240 AM.
