LINCOLN — After squandering a three-run lead in the seventh, the Saltdogs (33-30) bounced back and used lights out relief to beat the Amarillo Sox (20-43) 4-3 and complete the series sweep in front of 3,016 fans at Haymarket Park Thursday night.

Amarillo scored three runs in the top of the seventh, but Lincoln responded quickly by re-taking the lead in the bottom of the seventh on a Brandon Pinckney RBI single to center, after Matt Forgatch walked and stole second.

Conor Spink (4-1) pitched 1 2/3 innings of perfect relief to earn the win. Marshall Schuler struck out the side in the ninth for his 22nd save, and fourth in four games.

Justin Kuks tossed six innings, allowing just one run with six strikeouts but took the no-decision.

Kellen Moen (2-6) allowed a run in one inning out of the Sox bullpen to suffer the loss.

Lincoln swept a set for the first time in 2014 and has won four consecutive games for the first time, and now sits just four back of RailCats in the Central division.

The Saltdogs open a weekend set with the Kansas City T-Bones Friday night at 7:05 p.m. at Haymarket Park. RHP Nick Green (2-4, 4.68) is slated to face RHP Casey Barnes (2-1, 4.70). Radio coverage begins at 6:35 p.m. with "At the Ballpark" and "The Obie Show" on KFOR 1240.
