FARGO, N.D. — Brandon Mann tossed his second straight complete game, fanning nine as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (30-50) rolled the Saltdogs (30-50) 10-1 in front of 2,996 fans at Newman Outdoor Field Monday night.
Mann (5-8) allowed just six hits and walked three in his fourth complete game performance of the season to earn the win.
After Mitch Canham tied the game at 1-1 with a two-out, two-strike single in the top of the fourth, Fargo plated the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fourth and tacked on five more in the fifth.
Jesse Smith (3-7) allowed three earned on eight hits in five innings to suffer the loss.
Canham and Curt Smith each had two hits in the losing effort.
Adam Bailey clubbed a three-run homer and finished with three hits and four RBI. Joe Dunigan went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a triple.
The RedHawks are 32-11 at home against the ‘Dogs in the all-time series.
