KANSAS CITY, Kan. — World Series champion Mike Kickham dominated as the Kansas City T-Bones (32-42) blanked the Saltdogs (40-34) 8-0 in front of 4,016 fans at CommunityAmerica Ballpark Tuesday night.
Kickham (3-2) pitched eight innings, allowing seven hits while striking out nine to earn the win.
Kansas City exploded for six runs in the sixth to blow open the game, making it 8-0.
Brandon Jacobs and Curt Smith each had two hits for the Saltdogs.
Tyler Urps, Robby Kuzdale and Luis Alen extended their hit streaks to six games.
Ryan Davis pitched two hitless innings of relief.
Lincoln has dropped eight of 10 and now leads the Central by 2 1/2 games over Sioux City.
