LINCOLN, Nebraska – Ryan Long went 2-for-3 with an RBI double, but the ‘Dogs allowed a pair of homers in a 4-1 loss to the Kane County Cougars at Haymarket Park on Tuesday night.
Long’s double got Lincoln (21-19) on the board in the 6th, but rookie RHP Elijah Johnson allowed a solo homer to Josh Rolette in the 2nd and a three-run homer to Dylan Busby in the 4th, and the ‘Dogs dropped their fifth in the last six games.
