The Saltdogs acquired RHP Jake Kuebler, a former Lincoln Southeast First Team Super-State hurler and Kansas City Royals prospect, along with INF Cody Lenahan in a trade with Sioux City on Wednesday.

The American Association announced its 100-game schedule for the 2017 season, and the Saltdogs begin their campaign May 19, with the Haymarket Park opener set for May 25.
