The Saltdogs split two decisions with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Wednesday night. Lincoln fell 5-4 in 10 innings in the resumed game that was suspended Tuesday night, and won the seven-inning night cap 2-1 at Newman Outdoor Field.
Tuesday night's game between the Saltdogs and Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks was suspended in the top of the fourth inning due to rain. The clubs will resume the game Wednesday night at 5 p.m. with Lincoln trailing 4-3 and play the full nine innings.
Pete Parise was impressive in his first start back from the disabled list but Jake Laber was even better as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks topped the Saltdogs 3-1 in front of 2.504 fans at Newman Outdoor Field Monday night.
Joe Bisenius was masterful as the Saltdogs hung on to defeat the Sioux City Explorers 4-2 in front of 1,034 fans at Lewis and Clark Park Sunday evening.
Matt Forgatch delivered the big hit and the Saltdogs bullpen was lights out in a 7-4 victory over the Sioux City Explorers in front of 694 fans on a chilly Saturday night at Lewis and Clark Park.
