LINCOLN – It was an early inning run-fest, and the Sioux City Explorers led wire-to-wire in a 15-9 exhibition victory over the Saltdogs Tuesday night.
After two innings, Sioux City held a 9-8 lead, with all six of their second-inning tallies coming unearned due to two Lincoln errors.
Ian Gac and Brian Joynt each hit home runs for the Saltdogs, who wrapped up the pre-season with a 3-3 record.
