The Saltdogs would like to thank you, the fans, on making 2014 a fun and successful season at Haymarket Park.
More than 3,500 came out, on average, to ballgames this year, as the ‘Dogs won the Central Division Championship and made the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
You helped root on the club to its first postseason series victory – a thrilling comeback win over the North Champion Winnipeg Goldeyes – since winning it all in 2009.
We made our second Championship Series appearance.
Marshall Schuler set an American Association record with 34 saves. Ian Gac belted 27 home runs, which led the league and established a new franchise record.
Plenty of exciting things are in the works to celebrate the 15th season of Saltdogs baseball coming up in 2015.
