LINCOLN, NE – The Lincoln Saltdogs secured entry into the American Association playoffs by winning the Central Division Championship on Friday night. The Saltdogs will host the first games of the best-of-five playoffs series at Haymarket Park on Wednesday, September 6th and Thursday, September 7th. First pitch will be at 6:45 PM on both nights.

Both nights will be ‘Buck Nights’ with hot dogs, popcorn and select cans of beer available for just $1. Domestic draws will be offered for $2 and craft beer draws will be $3.
The Saltdogs will host the Winnipeg Goldeyes in the first round. After the first two games in Lincoln, the Saltdogs will travel to Winnipeg to play game three and games four and five as needed. First pitch times for games at Shaw Park are 6:05 PM, 4:05 PM and 7:05 PM respectively.
Should the Saltdogs win the first playoff series, they would make the championship series. That series will be played September 13-18.
The Saltdogs will try for their second American Association Championship. Their only title occurred in 2009.
First pitch for Wednesday night’s game against the Goldeyes is at 6:45 PM with coverage beginning at 6:15 PM on ESPN 1480 and saltdogs.com.
