LINCOLN — The Saltdogs (6-7) swept a double header with the Grand Prairie AirHogs (4-8) Tuesday night at Haymarket Park, winning by scores of 8-0 and 7-5 in front of 2,577 fans.
 
In game one, Marquis Fleming (1-2) was lights out, pitching a two-hit shutout, striking out eight and walking one to earn his first victory. Lincoln broke through for five runs in the fifth to bust the game wide open.
 
Jon Gaston went 2-for-4 with three RBI, and Chris Anderson went 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
 
In the night cap, the Saltdogs overcame a 4-0 deficit after the top of the first, tying the game with a Kevin Howard two-run double to left center in the fifth and taking the lead on a Mike Gilmartin RBI single in the sixth.
 
Mike Click (1-1) pitched two innings in relief to earn the win, while Marshall Schuler booked his third save of the season with a hitless seventh.
 
Gaston, Ian Gac and Howard combined to go 8-10 with four runs and five RBI in the heart of the batting lineup in game two.
 
The Saltdogs are off Wednesday and open a four-game series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Shaw Park Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. Radio coverage begins at 6:35 p.m. on KFOR 1240 with "At the Ballpark" and "The Obie Show."
