RAMAPO, N.Y. — The Rockland Boulders (31-22) built a big lead the second time through the batting order and cruised to a 7-1 victory over the Saltdogs (29-30) in front of 3,048 fans at Provident Bank Park Saturday night.
 
Richard Salazar (6-2) pitched six shutout innings, allowing just four hits while striking out five and walking two to earn the win.
 
The Boulders plated three runs on three hits with the help of an error in the third. Rockland then added four in the fourth, capped off by a Ryan Stovall two-out, two-run shot to left.
 
Nick Green (2-4) went seven, allowing six earned on eight hits, striking out seven but suffering the loss.
 
Luis Sanz pitched the final three innings for Rockland to collect the save.
 
The Saltdogs avoided a shutout with a Omar Luna RBI single to left in the ninth inning.
 
Lincoln is now 4-4 on its nine-game Eastern road trip, and has lost its first series since July 3 after four straight series wins.
