Beginning his second season of independent professional baseball and second with the Saltdogs after spending four seasons in the Oakland Athletics organization. Weber was a consistent backstop with the ‘Dogs a year ago, hitting .260 with nine homers and 31 RBIs in 75 games. He has 199 career professional games played in his affiliated career, where he slashed .202/.284/.279/.563 with four homers and 56 RBIs in his time with the A’s organization. A three-year Georgia Bulldog, Weber owned a .279/.344/.361/.705 slashline with seven homers and 81 RBIs to go along with 53 walks and 93 strikeouts. He was picked in the 18th round of the 2016 MLB Draft out of UGA.
