Luke Roskam returns to Lincoln for his third season with the Saltdogs after he was signed in August of 2022. Roskam played collegiately at Haymarket Park over a four-year span that included a 2021 Big Ten Championship. Roskam played a mix of catcher and first base for Nebraska and was a focal point to the offense in his last season with the Huskers. In his second season with Lincoln, Roskam became a key part in the Saltdogs’ offense. He finished the 2023 season with a .294 batting average, 14 home runs, 62 RBIs, and set a league record when he reached base in 45 straight games. Roskam had time with the Seattle Mariners organization in 2022.
