Back for his second season with the Lincoln Saltdogs after one of the most successful years for an individual player in franchise history during 2021. In 2021, Altmann became the first player in franchise history with 20 homers and 20 steals in one year, hitting 29 long balls and swiping 20 bases. He also became the first player in league history with at least 25 homers, 20 steals and 30 walks in a single year – and his 29 homers were the most in a single-season in franchise history. With seven years of professional baseball experience, Altmann’s career has taken him through five years of affiliated experience in the Texas Rangers organization, as well as to the Australian Baseball League. He reached Double-A Frisco in the Texas Rangers organization in 2019, and also homered off of World Series Champion Carl Edwards Jr. in a Major League Spring Training game as a member of the Rangers organization.
