2003: Did not allow a run in first 13 outings (14 innings). Allowed just 1 run in 16 innings (0.56 ERA) overall. Season ended on June 21 due to surgery on pitching elbow.

2002: Represented Lincoln at the All-Star game. Did not give up a run in his first 11 appearances spanning 11.1 innings. He gave up earned runs in only 4 of his 36 games. Finished with a 3-1 record a 1.16 ERA and 31-4 strikeout walk ratio. Weidert finished 2nd in NL with 22 saves.

2001: Earned 22 saves after never saving a professional game before. Was named to the NL post season all-star team for his dominance in relief. Started Saltdogs inaugural game at Sioux City but struggled giving up 7 earned runs in only 2 innings. Gave up 10 earned runs during first 2 starts (11.25 ERA), but only 8 earned runs in 39 relief appearances (1.39 ERA)

Before: Earned Rookie League Pitcher o the year in 1994 Went 11-1 with a 1.79 ERA for Class A Vermont in 1995. Reached Class AA in Baltimore Orioles organization during the 2000 season.
