Alex Baeza joins the Saltdogs for the 2024 season. Baeza played four season with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors before finishing his college career with the Utah Utes. In college he batted .271 and 109 RBIs.

In 2023, Baeza played his first season of Independent Baseball in the Pioneer League with the Boise Hawks where he hit .341 and 14 Home Runs.
