LINCOLN – Haymarket Park and the Lincoln Saltdogs are hosting their sixth annual Haymarket Park Beerfest on Saturday, July 22nd before and during the Saltdogs game against the Wichita Wingnuts.
The event will feature over 30 breweries from across Nebraska and the United States. Some local favorites include Zipline Brewing Company and Blue Blood Brewing Company of Lincoln. There will be wine and hard cider available in addition to beer.
There are two pricing levels for tickets. For just $20, guests get admission at 6:00 PM, a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited beer tastings and admission for the Saltdogs game. The VIP ticket is $40 and allows entry at 5:00 PM plus access to a catered meal in addition to the tasting glass, beer and baseball ticket.
“We are excited to welcome brewers from across the region to Haymarket Park to promote their craft,” Saltdogs President/GM Charlie Meyer said. “It is an outstanding opportunity to showcase local businesses while framing the event around two things people love; beer and baseball.”
The Saltdogs and Wingnuts, the leaders of the Central and South Divisions, will begin play at 6:45 PM in game two of a three-game series.
The Haymarket Park Beerfest started in 2012 and had over 1,000 guests last year.
