LINCOLN — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (27-19) scored four two-out runs in the fifth, which came in handy late in a 8-4 victory over the Saltdogs (25-21) in front of 4,520 fans at Haymarket Park Thursday night.
 
Fargo's four-run spurt in the top of the fifth, capped off with a Nic Jackson two-run double, gave the RedHawks an 8-2 lead.
 
The Saltdogs rallied to score two in the bottom of the ninth, on a Mike Provencher RBI triple and a Brian Wuest run-scoring groundout.
 
Alex Caldera (7-2) pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out four and walking two to earn the victory. Ben Henry (0-3) went four innings, allowing four runs on four hits while walking six and fanning three to absorb the loss.
 
Provencher finished the night 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Wuest (a former Husker and UNK Loper), making his professional debut, went 1-for-4 with two RBI.
 
Buddy Sosnoskie and Zach Penprase each hit two-run homers for the RedHawks, who have taken the first three games in the series.
 
The clubs are back at it Friday night at 7:05 p.m. for the series finale. Pete Parise (4-3, 3.46) will square off against Jake Laber (4-3, 3.19). Radio coverage begins at 6:35 p.m. on KFOR 1240.
