Kesem is a nationwide nonprofit community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer by providing innovative, fun-filled programs that foster a lasting community. Kesem at University of Nebraska is the only camp located in the state of Nebraska serving this unique population. The main event put on by Kesem is a week-long all expenses paid summer camp for these children, ages 6-18. For more information, please visit kesem.org. HCF believes that no cancer patient should fall behind on treatment because they struggle to afford their everyday expenses. HCF provides practical and immediate financial assistance to eligible cancer patients in our community by covering mortgages and rent, utilities, car loans, and fuel expenses.
