WINNIPEG, Man. — Joe Bisenius dazzled, and Ian Gac led a relentless power parade as the Saltdogs (7-9) trounced the Winnipeg Goldeyes (10-6) 8-1 in front of 5,665 fans at Shaw Park Saturday night.

Bisenius (1-0) twirled eight shutout innings, allowing just three hits and three walks while striking out seven with his low-to-mid-90's fastball to earn the win. The Omaha native gave up just one hit, a 10-foot tapper, over the first seven frames.

Gac hit a solo home run to right center in the fifth and a two-run shot to virtually the same spot in the seventh, which made the score 6-0. Gac finished the night 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI. It was Gac's second multi-homer game of the year, with both coming against Winnipeg.

Brian Joynt opened the game's scoring a two-out, towering solo home run to left center in the top of the 1st. Matt Forgatch also belted a solo shot to left center, as the Saltdogs scored in seven of the nine innings to snap a five-game skid against the Fish.

Jason Jarvis (1-3) surrendered six runs on 12 hits in six-plus innings to take the loss.

Forgatch went 3-for-5 with a home run and a stolen base, and Mike Gilmartin and Joynt each posted multi-hit efforts in a 15-hit (with seven for extra-bases) evening for Lincoln.
