In a game that saw record-setting power, the Kansas City T-Bones outslugged the Saltdogs 14-10 in front of 2,840 fans at CommunityAmerica Ballpark Monday night.

After his monster opening weekend, Saltdogs slugger Dennis Raben has been named American Association Batter of the Week.

The Gary SouthShore RailCats scored an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth for a walk-off win over the Saltdogs 6-5 in front of 2,031 fans at U.S. Steel Yard Sunday afternoon.

Dennis Raben came through with three two-out RBI and Nathan Moreau looked terrific on the hill as the Saltdogs held off the Gary SouthShore RailCats 4-3 in front of 2,826 fans at U.S. Steel Yard Saturday night.

Pete Parise threw five solid innings and Matt Forgatch launched his first home run in a 10-4 Saltdogs victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats in front of 2,372 fans at U.S. Steel Yard Friday night.

Despite a two-homer night from Dennis Raben, the Saltdogs fell to the Gary SouthShore RailCats 9-8 in 11 innings in front of 4,821 fans in the season opener at U.S. Steel Yard Thursday night.

The Saltdogs have their Opening Day roster set at 23 players, and will feature former big league hurler RHP Joe Bisenius as the ace of the staff.

The Saltdogs concluded exhibition play Saturday with a loss at Sioux City, the only blemish after winning their first four preseason games.
