Wednesday night’s suspended game (midnight curfew) will resume July 3 at 6 p.m. at Midway Stadium in St. Paul. The Saints lead the Saltdogs 8-2 moving into the seventh inning.
Due to two hours and fifty minutes worth of rain delays, Wednesday night’s game was only able to get through six innings before hitting curfew (no new inning can start after midnight).
David Espinosa hit a solo home run in his first at-bat as a Saltdog and Salomon Manriquez went deep as well but Lincoln trails 8-2.
The clubs will play a nine-inning game July 3 after the completion of the suspended game.
