Tyler Goodro joins the Saltdogs as a bullpen coach for the 2023 season, having played for Lincoln in 2013. Goodro had a five-year pro career after playing collegiately at Butler Community College and the University of Cincinnati. Goodro owns Goodro Catching, designed to help young players take their game to the next level with one-on-one development and instructional camps. Goodro was a standout at Creighton Prep, where he won a state championship in 2004. Goodro signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers out of college, where he earned an invite to spring training and caught for Clayton Kershaw and Jordan Zimmerman. Goodro has also served as an area scout for the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies.
