LAREDO, Texas — Despite a clutch home run by Mike Provencher in the bottom of the ninth, the Saltdogs (24-40) fell to the Laredo Lemurs (30-33) 5-4 in 10 innings at Uni-Trade Stadium Wednesday night.

Provencher launched a two-out, two-run home to tie the game at 4-4 in the last of the ninth.

In the bottom of the 10th, Saltdogs shortstop Miguel Chacoa committed a two-base error over-running a ground ball that proved costly. Stephen Pearson hit an infield single with the bases loaded to give the Lemurs a 5-4 walk-off win.

Three of the five defeats for Lincoln on their Lone Star road trip were lost in walk-off fashion.

Jimmy Rohan finished 3-for-5 with two runs. Provencher went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.
