Tanner Brown is pitching in his second season professionally and first with the Lincoln Saltdogs. The South Dakota native made eight appearances with Great Falls as a rookie in the Pioneer League last season and allowed 26 runs across 35 innings. He pitched five seasons with Augustana (SD) University and went 25-3 with a 3.19 ERA in 57 career collegiate appearances, racking up a program-record 301 strikeouts in 240 innings. Brown’s 25 wins were also the most in Augustana history. Brown was teammates with fellow Saltdog pitcher John Bezdicek when the two played for Willmar in the Northwoods League for the summer of 2020 and 2021.
