Knapp spent each of the last six seasons in the New York Mets organization after he was selected in the 8th round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of Florida Gulf Coast University. He’s been a starter for much of his career and made 123 appearances with 95 starts with the Mets. In his pro career, he has a 35-33 record with a 3.88 ERA and over 620 career innings, he has given up 679 hits, 315 runs, 267 earned runs, 154 walks and struck out 430 hitters. In 13 starts at AA level he was 5-2 with a 2.91 ERA, and in 23 appearances and 15 starts at A+ level: he was 9-5 with a 2.65 ERA.
