Max Hewitt returns to the Saltdogs’ infield for the 2025 season. He is primarily a catcher and second basemen, but Hewitt has moved to every position in the field throughout his baseball career. Hewitt played four seasons with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, finishing his college career with a .297 batting average and 63 RBIs.  Hewitt batted .275 for Lincoln in 2024 with seven doubles and 22 rbi’s in 66 games played.

2024: Played 66 games for the Saltdogs, batting .275 with seven doubles and 22 runs batted in.

2023: Hewitt played 35 games for the Great Lakes Loons (High-A LAD). He batted .212 with seven doubles and ten rbi’s.

2022: Played in 21 games for Great Lakes, batting .125 with three doubles and three rbi’s. On the mound for the Loons, Hewitt was 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA. In his lone appearance he pitched 1.0 innings and struck out one.

2021: Hewitt played 56 games in his senior year at Oklahoma State, batting .281 with four home runs and 44 runs batted in.

2020: Played in 18 games his junior season for Oklahoma State, batting .410 with one triple and ten runs batted in. During the summer, Hewitt played 28 games for the Tulsa Drillers in the Texas Collegiate League. He batted .235 with two doubles and eleven runs batted in.

2019: Hewitt played in 33 games for Oklahoma State, in his sophomore season. He batted .303 with one home run and nine runs batted in. In the summer, Hewitt played for the Fort McMurray Giants in the Western Canadian League. In 41 games, he batted .317 with two home runs and 29 runs batted in.

2018: Played in 24 games as a freshman at Oklahoma State. He batted .177 with six hits, one of which was a double. In the summer, Hewitt played for the Madison Mallards in the Northwoods League, batting .196 with one double and seven runs batted in. On the mound for Madison, Hewitt was 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA. In his lone appearance, Hewitt pitched 1.1 innings and struck out one.
