A Lincoln native and four-year pitcher at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Hohensee returns to the ‘Dogs for his third season after debuting in pro baseball with Lincoln in 2018. In his pro career, Hohensee has 53 appearances, has thrown 114.2 innings, and has recorded 88 strikeouts.

Hohensee graduated from Lincoln East HS and went 9-6 with a 3.69 ERA during his time at NU. Hohensee earned second-team All-American honors in 2018 after he transitioned to closer and recorded 13 saves in 19 appearances with a 1.05 ERA.
