Jack Dragum joins the Saltdogs for his second season of professional baseball. Dragum started his collegiate career at Virginia, before joining UNC Charlotte in 2021. He finished college with a .305 batting average, 132 RBIs and 29 home runs.
Dragum can play throughout the infield but has excelled at third base. Last season, Dragum earned American Association West Division All-Star honors while hitting .262 collecting 66 hits in 68 games for the ‘Dogs, in 2024.
2024: Played 68 games for the Lincoln Saltdogs, batting .262 with three home runs and 19 runs batted in.
2023: Dragum played 64 games for UNC Charlotte, in Conference USA, batting .285 with eleven home runs and 51 rbi’s, for the 49ers, earning Second Team All-Conference Honors.
2022: Played 58 games for the Charlotte 49ers, batting .352 with eleven home runs and 53 runs batted in, claiming First Team All-Conference USA accolades. Dragum also pitched in 0.2 innings in his lone appearance, striking out one. In the summer, Dragum played 23 games for the Peninsula Pilots (Hampton, Virginia) in the Coastal Plain League. He batted .200 with one home run and 13 runs batted in. Dragum also went 0-1 on the mound with a 13.50 ERA in two appearances. He pitched 2.2 innings, striking out four.
2021: Dragum played 61 games for Charlotte, batting .288 with seven home runs and 27 runs batted in. In the summer, Dragum played in 30 games for Peninsula, batting .240 with three home runs and 23 rbi’s. He also went 1-0 on the mound with a 0.00 ERA. In two appearances, he recorded one save. He pitched 2.0 innings, striking out six.
2020: In the summer, Dragum played in 23 games for Peninsula, batting .192 with three doubles and nine rbi’s. Dragum went 2-0 on the mound with a 2.25 ERA. In eleven appearances, he had two starts and one save. He pitched 16.0 innings and struck out 19.
2019: Dragum played in ten games for the Virginia Cavaliers, in the Atlantic Coast Conference. He batted .154 with two hits and one rbi.
