Greg Loukinen is a 6’0”, 196-pound left-hander from Lawrenceville, Georgia.  Loukinen played collegiately at NAIA power Georgia Gwinett.  In his final season, Loukinen went 10-3 over 15 starts, collecting 101 strikeouts in 96 innings pitched.  Loukinen’s last stop was with the Washington WildThings in the Frontier League, in 2023.

2024: Did Not Play

2023: Started the season with the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers, in the United Shore League, going 3-1 with a 3.71 ERA. In seven appearances, he started six games, pitching 34.0 innings and struck out 47. Loukinen pitched in six games, with three starts for the Washington WildThings, in the Frontier League. He went 2-3 with a 12.12 ERA. In 16.1 innings, he struck out twelve batters.

2022: Began the season with the Westside Woolly Mammoths, in the United Shore League, going 1-1 with a 3.08 ERA. In nine appearances, he started eight games, pitching 38.0 innings and striking out 42 batters. Loukinen appeared in four games for the Lake Country DockHounds, in the American Association, going 0-1 with a 9.28 ERA. In four starts, he pitched 10.2 innings and struck out seven batters.

2021: Went 5-2 for Westside, with a 1.79 ERA. Appearing in 13 games, Loukinen started eight games, pitched 55.1 innings and struck out 77 batters.

2020: Did Not Play

2019: Pitched for Georgia Gwinnett, going 10-3 with a 3.19 ERA. In 18 appearances, he recorded 15 starts with two complete games. In 98.2 innings pitched, Loukinen struck out 101 batters, earning NAIA All-America Honorable Mention recognition.

2018: Went 7-1 for Georgia Gwinnett, with a 2.73 ERA. In 18 appearances, he had eleven starts with four complete games, three shutouts and two saves. In 85.2 innings pitched, Loukinen struck out 99 batters.

2017: In the summer, he pitched for the Lake Erie Monarchs of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He went 2-3 with a 2.79 ERA. In eight appearances, he had seven starts and one complete game. In 42.0 innings pitched, he struck out 33 batters.

2016: Went 2-0 for Lake Erie, during the summer, with a 2.57 ERA. In six games, he started four, and earned one save. In 28.0 innings pitched, he struck out 15 batters.
