Gavins Johns joins the Saltdogs for the 2024 season. Johns played three season at Tennessee Tech. In his senior year, Johns registered a .314 batting average and 22 RBIs. After college Johns moved around independent teams in the Atlantic, Pioneer, and Frontier league. In his first season of professional baseball, Johns stole 20 bases, most coming form his time with the Kentucky Wild Health Genomes.
