Gary Mattis joins the Saltdogs for the 2024 season after finishing his 2023 season with the Evansvill Otters in the Frontier League. Mattis finished is collegiate career at Tennessee Wesleyan in 2021. In college, Mattis recorded a .399 batting average and 34 home runs. He reached the Double-A Amarillo Sod Poodles for three games in 2022.
