Dutch Landis joins the Saltdogs staff this season. The 6’2” 210-pound right hander was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 19th round of the 2019 draft, out of Liberty High School, in Henderson, Nevada. After playing one season for the Mariners Rookie League team in the Arizona League, Landis has spent the last three seasons in independent ball, playing for the Rocky Mountain Vibes in 2022 and the last two seasons with the Northern Colorado Owlz. Last season, Landis pitched in 45 games for the Owlz, going 4-3, while striking out 50 batters, in 47 innings.
2024: Made 45 appearances with the Northern Colorado Owlz of the Pioneer League. He went 4-3 with a 4.21 ERA, with 13 saves. In 47.0 innings pitched, Landis struck out 50 batters. At the plate, he batted 1.000, going 1-for-1 with a double.
2023: Appeared in 28 games for Northern Colorado, going 2-0 with an 8.27 ERA, recording two saves. In 32.2 innings pitched, he struck out 30 batters.
2022: Pitched in four games for the Rocky Mountain Vibes, in the Pioneer League. He went 0-1 with a 20.57 ERA, with one start. In 7.0 innings pitched, he struck out three batters.

2019: Appeared in six games for the Mariners in the Arizona League. He went 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA. In five starts, Landis pitched 11.0 innings and struck out nine batters.
