David Vidal returns to professional baseball in the United States after he spending each of the last three years overseas. Vidal played six seasons of affiliated minor league baseball and 11 seasons of pro baseball altogether. Vidal played three seasons under Saltdogs manager Brett Jodie at Somerset in the Atlantic League from 2015-2017, where he appeared in 2014 games and hit .282 with 39 homeruns. The Miami-Dade College product spent five seasons in the Cincinnati Reds organization after being selected in the 8th round of the 2010 MLB Draft.
