A center and right fielder, Phelts joins the Lincoln Saltdogs for the 2026 season.  The sixth-year professional comes to Lincoln after playing 2025 with the Windy City ThunderBolts.  In the previous five seasons, Phelts has recorded 315 stolen bases.

2025:   Phelts played for the Windy City ThunderBolts, in the Frontier League.  In 64 games, he batted .268, with 66 hits and 15 rbi’s, while swiping 45 bases.

2024:   In 83 games for the ThunderBolts, Phelts batted .256, with 79 hits and 20 runs batted in, plus stole 53 bases.

2023:   Phelts played for the Ogden Raptors, in the Pioneer League.  In 89 games, he batted .327, with two homeruns, 56 runs batted in, and 40 stolen bases.

2022:  Played in 82 games for the Northern Colorado Owlz, in the Pioneer League.  He hit .288, with seven homeruns, 49 runs batted in, and 51 stolen bases.

2021:  Phelts concluded his college career for the Grambling State Tigers, in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.  In 44 games, he batted .290, with six homeruns and 30 runs batted in, while stealing 22 bases.  Phelts began his professional career with the Washington WildThings, in the Frontier League.  In 36 games, he hit .164, with ten hits and four rbi’s.

2020:  During the COVID-shortened season, Phelts played for the Texas College Steers, in the Red River Athletic Conference.  In 29 games, he batted .397, with one homerun, eleven rbi’s and 48 stolen bases.

2019:  In his junior season for the Steers, Phelts played in 56 games, batting .306, with four homeruns and 24 runs batted in, with 33 stolen bases.  During the summer, Phelts played for the Fayetteville Swampdogs, in the Coastal Plain League.  In 45 games, he batted .266, with three homeruns and 23 runs batted in.

2018:   Phelts played in 51 games, his sophomore season, for Texas College, batting .354, with three homeruns and 31 runs batted in, while stealing 35 bases.  In the summer, he played for the Utica Blue Sox, in the Perfect Game Collegiate League.  In 44 games, he batted .273, with three homeruns, 28 runs batted in, and 20 stolen bases.

2017:   In his freshman season for the Steers, Phelts played in 51 games, batting .367, with one homerun, 21 runs batted in, and 24 stolen bases.
