Abdallah Aris is pitching in his eighth season of professional baseball and second in the American Association. Aris first appeared in the league when he made 13 starts for the traveling Houston Apollos in 2021, and he spent last year pitching for Monterey of the Pecos League, where he allowed just two runs across eight innings, walking one and striking out 13. Aris, 26, is a product of Venezuela and signed with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2015. Aris made it as high as Triple-A Lehigh Valley in 2019, and he also has time spent pitching in the Venezuelan Winter League. Entering 2023, Aris has a 10-18 record with a 3.70 ERA and 233 strikeouts across 221 and 1/3 innings.
