Aaron Takacs is playing his fourth season of professional baseball, all in independent leagues. He has played two seasons in the American Association, most recently spending 2022 with Lake Country and Sioux Falls. Last year he hit .297 with four homers and 41 RBIs.  Takacs was also a standout for the traveling Houston Apollos in 2021, and he has also appeared in the Pecos League and United Shore Professional Baseball League. Takacs played collegiately at Cairn University and Montreat College.
