LINCOLN — Baseball fans will be treated to a brand new, state-of-the-art videoboard at Haymarket Park for the upcoming Lincoln Saltdogs and Nebraska Cornhuskers campaigns.

The new LED videoboard measures 17 feet by 34 feet – three times the size and resolution of the ballpark’s original board, and is scheduled to be installed Thursday.

The SignCo-designed screen will be capable of displaying HD quality content and provide much more flexibility for the multiple needs of daily game schedules.

“We are always looking at ways of upgrading the fan experience at Haymarket Park,” Saltdogs President Charlie Meyer said. “This new video board will continue to make Haymarket Park one of the premier baseball stadiums in the nation and will enhance the overall game experience for our fans and sponsors.”

The LED display boasts 240 lines of resolution tall x 496 columns of resolution wide on 20mm spacing.

“We are very excited to be installing the latest in video board technology for our Baseball and Softball programs and fans,” Nebraska Associate Athletic Director John Ingram said. “What a great way to usher in the their first season competing in the Big Ten Conference.”
