FARGO, N.D. — Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (19-19) scored four runs in three different innings to topple the Saltdogs (15-22) 13-6 in front of 3,578 fans at Newman Outdoor Field Wednesday night.
A Sergio Pedroza three-run home run in the bottom of the second propelled Fargo to an early 5-0 lead.
Former St. Louis Cardinals first rounder Tyler Herron (2-3) pitched six innings, allowing four runs while striking out five to earn the win. Justin Edwards (2-4) surrendered eight earned in five innings to suffer the loss.
Tommy Collaro homered for his second time in as many nights, a two-run opposite field drive to right in the fifth.
Mike Provencher and Jimmy Rohan each tallied three hits in a losing effort.
Saltdogs manager Chris Miyake was ejected in the bottom of the second inning after arguing a call at second base.
