Former Saltdogs right-hander Tim Adleman (2012) made his Major League Baseball debut May 1, allowing just two runs while striking out six in six innings at Pittsburgh’s PNC Park.
The 28-year old yielded three hits and walked two over six strong frames for the Cincinnati Reds.
He fanned Pirates All-Star Andrew McCutchen in the first inning to record his first big league strikeout.
Adleman became the second former Saltdogs pitcher to make his MLB debut in the last two seasons, joining Angel Castro (2010), who broke in with the Oakland Athletics last year.
The Saltdogs play their home opener May 27 at Haymarket Park with a fireworks show after the game. Get your tickets now!
