LINCOLN, Nebraska – Teodoro Martinez had two hits and three RBI, and the ‘Dogs took advantage of their run-scoring opportunities in a 9-5 win over the Kansas City T-Bones at Haymarket Park on Friday night.

BOX SCORE

Martinez plated two in the 3rd with a two-run double down the left-field line, and later drove in a run with a two-out RBI single in the 5th.

The ‘Dogs scored twice in the 1st inning before Kansas City scored once to half the deficit in the 2nd.

Lincoln added two more in the 3rd on the two-run Martinez double, and the RBI single later made it 5-1.

The T-Bones cut the deficit to one in the 6th when Mason Davis hit a two-run single and Danny Mars followed him up with an RBI single, but the ‘Dogs rebuilt the lead to five in the bottom-half of the frame with Nick Schulz’s two-run single and Tyler Moore’s two-out, two-run base hit.
