LINCOLN, NE –  The Saltdogs and the RedHawks were locked up in a pitchers duel until Fargo-Moorhead’s offense came alive in the top of the 6th en route to a 9-3 victory.

INF Dakota Conners put together a multiple-hit effort including an RBI on a ground out to open the scoring in the second inning.  OF Aaron Takacs also chipped in on the scoring with an RBI double in the home half of the eighth.

The Saltdogs (5-7) were locked in a defense battle with Fargo-Moorhead (6-4) until the Redhawks exploded for six runs in the top of the sixth to spoil RHP Zach Keenan’s good start through five innings.

RHP Dan Kubiuk appeared in the ninth for the ‘Dogs and he went 1-2-3 in the top of the ninth with two strikeouts to continue his strong start to his Saltdogs career.

The series finale is tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. at Haymarket Park, game seven of seven in the first homestand of the season.  The Saltdogs will get their first off-day of the season on Thursday.
