ST. PAUL, Minnesota – The Lincoln Saltdogs and St. Paul Saints were suspended after three scoreless innings at CHS Field on Monday night.

The delay came around 9 p.m. when persistent and heavy rain began to fall. The game was also delayed 55 minutes from the original first-pitch time of 7:05 p.m. because of inclement weather.

Kyle Kinman had thrown three scoreless innings, giving up three hits with a pair of walks and two strikeouts.

Game 1 will resume at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening and will be completed as a regularly-scheduled, nine-inning game. The two teams will play a seven-inning game after the conclusion of the first game.

Coverage will begin right at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN Lincoln 101.5 FM/1480 AM, directly after the conclusion of the Hail Varsity show.
